Here is a self-promo illustration of Stephen Crane's short story: The Open Boat.
Its about a cook, a correspondent, an oiler, and a captain shipwrecked off the coast of Florida. The story is more about a "universe unconcerned with the affairs of humankind"
who will fate let live/die.

Wow man, really awesome work. Lovin the shapes and the palette. That water works so freakin well, it incorporates the fun stuff happenin in both your sketchbook and your finished stuff. Killer!

WOW. Fucking incredible Park. I love it.
awesome, this is beautiful, the green water, wow
Chris- this is the best work I've seen you do. Beautiful execution. My favorite element is the point of view- scenes on the water are a great place to toss out the rules of perspective! You'd better be planning on entering this in the Society of Illustrators NY show!
best,
s.

Sterling, i remember you telling me to incorporate those waves that were in my sketchbook into my final illustrations...there they are.
Thank you Chris!! That is a great idea!!! My next animation will be of Carlo based on that sketch from my sketchbook. By the way, I am infatuated with this piece. Would you please sell me a print!!!! I am about to move in to a new place and I need art. Please sell me a print!!!!!!
